Stamper's Day will be Saturday, October 2 from 10am until 4pm this year. This is our fun day with Make ‘n’ Takes, demos, door prizes, and most of all… SALES! We usually celebrate this event on the first Saturday in November, however from now on it will be the first Saturday in October.

Celebrating Stamper's Day a month earlier means we will need to begin sign-ups for the Holiday Tag Swap now. You will need to call the shop to sign up and for more information.

Stamper's Alley Annual Christmas Tag Swap

Registration is now closed - we have 2 full groups of participants.

We've worked out the details and here they are:

Registration ends August 28. You can call Stamper’s Alley at 704-664-5068, or you can sign up in person. Participants will be placed into groups of no more than 15 participants each, so you should plan to make 16 tags. We will begin accepting tag submissions on Wednesday, September 1st through Saturday, September 25. No submissions will be accepted after that date, no exceptions.

Tags should be no smaller than 2” x 2”, and no larger than 3” x 4”. Please use stamps from companies available at Stamper’s Alley. If you are not sure about a certain company, please give us a call.

When you are creating your tags, make sure that they are of the same quality that you would like to receive. One of the tags should have your name and the company names of any stamps used attached to it. This information will be included on the display board. When you bring your tags in, include a large envelope (at least 6" x 9") or a quart sized Ziploc bag clearly marked with your name. Please do not just put a slip of paper inside your bag with your name, it must be clearly written on the outside of the bag with permanent marker or have a white label with your name on it affixed to the bag.

The completed tag swap will be available for pick up Saturday, October 2 (Stamper’s Day) through Saturday, October 19th. Please be sure to pick up your tags by that date. If you are unable to pick up your tags in person, we will mail them to you if you include a self addressed, stamped envelope (be sure to attach enough postage).

NEW - Stamp of the Month Challenge

This challenge will be conducted each month, using the current Stamp of the Month program.

How do you Enter? Simply create a card or scrapbook page using the Stamp of the Month plus at least one additional stamp from the current program in stores for that month. Entries must be submitted by the 20th of each month and winners will be announced on the last weekday of the month.

Send your submission to greatstamps@localaccess.com and put Stamp of the Month Challenge in the subject line. In the body of the email please include a list of materials used on the card or scrapbook page that you are submitting. Entries must be original and not used in any other challenges. By participating in this contest, each entrant gives permission to Great Impressions Rubber Stamps, Inc. to use the entrant’s name and photograph for advertising and promotional purposes.

What Will You Win? By entering, you could win the ENTIRE SET of stamps from the next upcoming Stamp of The Month Program!!! This means 10 -14 brand new stamp designs just being introduced into our stamp line.

Each month the contest entries will be posted on the Great Impressions blog and the winners card will be showcased on the blog the last weekday of the month.

Remember - you can still get updates via email when you sign up for them on the Stamper's Alley News Blog. We won't be sending Shout Out emails any longer, so hop on over and sign up. Stamper's Alley Rewards Program

For every purchase totaling $25 or more (before taxes and excluding gift certificate purchases), you will be eligible to register for a special drawing. The prize will be a Stamper's Alley Gift Certificate in the amount of $50 (valid for regular price, in stock merchandise only and cannot be applied to class fees). The drawing will be held on the last Saturday of each month, after which the remaining entries will be discarded. One entry per person per day. You do not need to be present to win. Gift certificate is valid for 3 months from date of issue.

"What kind of cards do service members prefer?"
We're told that general cards are in greatest demand since they are not time-sensitive: miss you, love, birthday, thinking of you, hello, thank you. They send cards to husbands and wives, mothers and fathers, children and friends, so any of these themes directed to any of these audiences are fabulous!

"What kind of cards should I avoid?"
No glitter that will flake off the card—it is a safety hazard; it can make a mess on a uniform and make a hero visible to night-vision goggles! Please do not send suggestive or risqué cards; we do not wish to offend any of our service members. Funny cards are okay, but keep them positive and upbeat. Avoid odd holiday sentiments—like "congratulations on your new kitten" or "welcome to the neighborhood." All cards must be handmade, no store-bought cards are accepted, sorry. Also, envelopes are not necessary.

Discount Day

On the 15th of every month receive 15% off your entire order (regular priced items only, special orders excluded). If the 15th falls on a Sunday, Monday or a holiday the reward will be given the next day the shop is open. The discount will absolutely not be given before the 15th. You must be present in the store to receive the discount, mail orders not eligible.

Stamp of the Month Program

We offer a Stamp of the Month Program through a wonderful stamp company called Great Impressions. Each month we will have new stamps that were used to create an astonishing sample board. All of the stamps used on the board are available for purchase and one stamp is featured as the Stamp of the Month. You may buy that stamp at half price with a $10 purchase of anything in the store. There is also an instruction sheet and color photograph of the board that you can purchase as well. The Stamp of the Month section is located near the door at the entrance to the store. Please ask at the cash register if you have any questions.

Birthday Discount Program

Come in during the month of your birthday, show your driver's license and receive 20% OFF YOUR ENTIRE PURCHASE! (valid only once during that month). Remember, you have only the month in which your birthday falls to take advantage of this discount. If you miss your month, you must wait until your next birthday.

Special Orders

We will be happy to place a special order for you, but please be aware that you will be required to prepay. This is due to the fact that minimums must be reached with the companies before we are able to place the order. Therefore, ordering and shipping times will range from 2-6 weeks, depending on how long it takes to reach that minimum.

Store Policies:

Returns: There will be no returns on magazines, books, stamps, punches, or any opened items. Please make sure you do not already have an item before you purchase it. Consider making a record of your stamping supplies and having it with you when you shop. No item that is returnable will be accepted without a register receipt.

Gift Certificates: Gift certificates are available for purchase, but may be used for merchandise only and may not be applied to class fees. The customer buying the gift certificate may request that the purchase be credited to their Frequent Buyer Card and they must have their card when they purchase the gift certificate. The credit will be designated with a special marking on the back of the certificate. If they choose not to credit it to their own card, then the recipient will be given credit on their Frequent Buyer Card when they use the certificate.

Cell Phones in Classes: When attending a class, please turn all cell phones off or to vibrate. If it is absolutely necessary to receive OR place a call, please step outside the classroom so that class may proceed without interruption. We appreciate your cooperation in this matter.
